Lately I’ve been feeling the guilt of not being “Christian enough” when I’m with my coworkers and peers. It’s a paranoia in which I wonder after that time, “Did what I say convince them otherwise?”

Now, I’m not perfect, and none of us are. But we are expected to live our lives in a way that reflects and glorifies the Lord.

And as I’m going about my week, I find myself asking, “How can I better do that?”

This past Saturday, I sat and prayed in my car. And in that, I was reminded that I have another chance. Another chance to forgive or apologize, to be kind, to offer a hand, to reject sin or sinful habits.

It’s not something we can figure out in one go-around, but something that takes time to develop. God is good because time and time again He gives us chances to restart.

Don’t take these chances for granted, friends. We genuinely do not know when our next chance will be!

If you feel as if you are doing everything wrong, don’t be discouraged: there is another chance. But don’t let that second chance debilitate you so that you can just say, “Welp, there’s always next time.”

Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

Colossians 4:5-6 NIV

We are called to make the most of every opportunity! Don’t let a moment go to waste.
