We live in an uncertain world. Uncertainty comes with being human, right?
But a lot of times we miss out on the blessings that are certain because we’re looking down instead of up.
We can read in Hebrew that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8 NIV)
There’s no uncertainty in that sentence. Rather, the writer knew the world needed and still needs that confidence and hope: our God does not change.
With the blessing and confidence of knowing the Lord, we have the chance to notice other blessings that He’s constantly giving us each and every day.
I was looking through my camera roll the other day and found a bunch of photos from the past few months and there’s so many just plain and simple joyful ones.

God is always proving time and time again that He is good and He is kind. These relationships are just one of the blessings He’s given me and the people in these pictures—not to mention the people who aren’t in these pictures.
In a few weeks one of my close friends from Washington is visiting for a week. Y’all have no idea how excited I am and how much of a blessing I know this visit will be, both for me and her.
This visit, amongst every other thing he’s given me, is just yet more proof of His love.
Look through your camera roll—count the blessings that you’ve happened to take photos of. And now, count the blessings you haven’t or can’t take photos of: memories, things people said, events that happened over the years.
God is so good, staying with us and being here for us continuously, yesterday and today and forever.
Thanks for reading, I hope this was encouraging. Have a great Sunday everybody!
