Yes that’s right, ladies and gents—we have two exciting announcements. The first one….

The Faithful Wanderer has reached the 200 subscriber milestone!!

Thank you guys for joining me on this journey, I’m so excited to continue growing in my faith with you guys!

And as a celebration for this milestone, I figured it was time for…a snippet competition.

You have the chance to win a competition and brag to all your friends about it (humbly, of course).

I have an image and you will write a snippet based on it. You must include the number ‘200’ in some way, shape, or form. It can be written out, it can be the number of a house, it could be something like, “about two hundred or so people,” but it must be in the snippet or else the snippet will not count.

And is your writing prompt! Yes, it’s a little bit different than most other writing prompts we’ve done, but such is the life of a writer:

Final guidelines and such:

1. No profanity or inappropriate content
2. 200 words is the minimum and 500 is the maximum
3. The deadline is NEXT THURSDAY, the 26th! I’ll post the winners on March 3rd
4. Each person is allowed one submission each
5. You must include ‘200’ or ‘two hundred’ in your snippet
6. If I receive more than 6 submissions, then I will choose two winners—but 5 or less there will be one winner. So tell your friends!
7. You must include a title!

What do I win?

Fame and glory. And also a spot on the spotlight page—which I’m still in the process of updating….so don’t kill me if it looks really ugly at the moment. No, we do not have gift cards in this round because buying a car and Christmas (and weekly Starbucks runs) are draining my account. My deepest condolences.
