A good friend and even better blogger, Julie at the Moonlight Wanderer, tagged me for this tag challenge! Check out her blog—it’s got great content and I always look forward to her posts! (Also it’s got such a cute layout, I love it!)

Y’all, I am loving the fall tag challenges. (This is only the second one, but still: I love them.) Anyways, let’s see what’s happening here!

Guidelines:

  1. Download the cover photo and use it for your post
  2. Acknowledge the person who tagged you—thank you, Julie!!
  3. Tag others and comment on their blog to let them know!
  4. Slip into autumn vibes!

Questions:

  1. If autumn isn’t your favorite season, what is? And if autumn is your favorite season, why?
  2. What is your favorite thing that you do each autumn?
  3. What are a couple of your favorite autumn memories?
  4. What book most reminds you of the autumn? Movie?
  5. What is your favorite drink for this season?
  6. What is one new thing that you want to do this autumn?
  7. Do you decorate for the season? If so, how? If not, how come?
  8. Thanksgiving is a couple of weeks away; what is your favorite way to celebrate? (I think most of my blogger friends are American. 😂) If not, skip this one.
  9. What color most makes you think of autumn?
  10. Type up a list of ten words or names (i.e. White Chicken Chili) that encapsulate the season of autumn for you.

So let’s dive into my answers and then we’ll see who I tag!

My answers:

1. If autumn isn’t your favorite season, what is? And if autumn is your favorite season, why?

You know, I swear my answer changes every season. (Not every year, but every season.) I think that fall is my favorite though, even if I’m wanting summer or winter.

I love it because of the vibes, the clothes, the spiced/pumpkin food, Thanksgiving, my birthday, and the anticipation leading up to Christmas. Also it’s just GORGEOUS and I love that!

2. What is your favorite thing that you do each autumn?

At some point, we always go apple picking! I love apple picking and it’s just such a fun activity our family does—and if we’re lucky, we do it with friends too!

Another thing we do is having fires and s’mores. We do this year round as well, but fall is just perfect weather for it, right? Again, it’s something that we often do with our family, but when I lived back in Boston, that was a fan favorite in my friend group!

3. What are a couple of your favorite autumn memories?

Ooh, that’s actually a hard question!

A fun autumn memory actually happened this year! We got a puppy in the beginning of October and he’s just too cute, jumping in the leaves and curling up by our fireplace.

Radley—of course, he’s about double that size now! He’s growing really quickly!

4. What book most reminds you of the autumn? Movie?

For book…I think either A Walk to Remember by Nicolas Sparks. (I thought I had other ideas, but apparently I did not.)

For movie, probably Lord of the Rings but my favorite fall-vibes show is Gilmore Girls, hands down. (very different, I am well aware.)

5. What is your favorite drink for this season?

A chai latte! (Preferably from this coffee shop called Waterbean Coffee, it’s just too good.)

6. What is one new thing that you want to do this autumn?

In all honesty, there’s not much new stuff I want to try. However, when my friend comes to visit for my birthday (random, but—he’s also gonna be doing a guest post for The Faithful Wanderer! So be on the lookout for that!), me and him are going to drive around and do this scavenger-hunt-type thing. We’re going to find businesses that start with each letter of the alphabet and take dumb pictures in front of them.

7. Do you decorate for the season? If so, how? If not, how come?

Yes and no. Do I decorate? No. Does my mother decorate? Yes! We have pumpkins (mini and large) around the house and front porch and then orange foliage to decorate the house and a fall wreath on the front door! But if I were living alone, I genuinely have no idea if I were going to decorate or not. We’ll see in a few years, haha!

8. Thanksgiving is a couple of weeks away; what is your favorite way to celebrate?

With…food. Honestly, that’s about all we do—eat, hang out, and then decorate for Christmas the next day! But this year, we are going to have family members visiting which will be fun!

9. What color most makes you think of autumn?

Orange and brown—but like, a pretty version of it. Like the leaves in the trees when you’re driving through the mountains!

10. Type up a list of ten words or names (i.e. White Chicken Chili) that encapsulate the season of autumn for you.

~Leaves
~Colorful
~Plaid and flannels
~Family
~Good food
~Spices
~Peaceful
~Stars
~Blankets
~Breezy

My tags:

Agh, Julie, how dare you—you tagged all my would-have-tagged-them people!

Yes, only three tags, but like I said, someone—*cough, Julie, cough*—tagged all my other tags. But that’s okay, because I had a fun time doing this!

Now, if you’re reading this and you want to do it…then I tag you too!

Thanks for reading, have a great autumn!
