Yes, you read that title right.
But it was a bit of clickbait…I’m only done for the month of November, and even then, I’m not completely done!
There’s a few reasons why I’m not posting regularly during November.
- If you didn’t know, I’m doing Jesus Writing Month. In thirty days, all those participating will be writing, editing, or completing their novel.
- I’m doing C.S. Lewis fiction writing program that is from November 3rd to December 3rd and I’ll be using that to help me finish my novel.
- I’m already taking two writing classes for school—one fiction class and one college essay-writing class. Add on the C.S. Lewis program and JWM, that’s a LOT of writing…so including my blog would be a wee bit too much for me…
So I’m setting aside my blog post writings for now so that I can focus on writing fiction since I haven’t really done that in a long time. However, I will be writing Sunday Encouragement Posts and scheduling them ahead of time and then regular posts that I will publish on either Wednesdays or Thursday during November. (If that doesn’t make sense: I’m writing a bunch of posts to schedule for November.)
To be honest, I didn’t really want to do this—I enjoy my blog and writing for it! But I knew that I had to prioritize my fiction writing so that I could finally finish this novel and hopefully get back into enjoying writing fiction as well.
So that’s what’s up.
But this doesn’t mean that I will be gone. I will still be active on WordPress, reading y’all’s blogs, replying to comments and such, and my contact page will still be open—but I just won’t be posting four times a week.
Alright, that’s it! Let me know if you have any questions or thoughts. And then starting in December, the Faithful Wanderer will (hopefully) be back to normal.
Thanks for reading!
