In the Bible, the phrase “good things” often comes around. But what does good things even mean?
The Greek word for “good things” (or works) is ergon, which means “any product whatever, anything accomplished by hand, art, industry, or mind.”
This kind of blows me away. Whatever we accomplish—by hand, art, industry, or mind—is a “good thing.”
Now, have you ever thought about this: you are a product that was accomplished?
You are a good thing.
How cool is that?!
God created you with his hand and his mind and that makes you a good thing.
You’re not a mistake or an accident—you were created with a purpose, for a purpose, by a God who gives you purpose.
I hope this encouraged you! Never forget that you are a very good thing.
Have a great Sunday!
