You are useless.
This is a lie that the enemy loves to tell us. You are useless, you will never help anybody, never make anyone feel good about themselves.
Friend, I’m here to tell you that is a lie! You are called to do great things. And I don’t mean ‘flashing lights and giant stage’ great. I mean ‘impacting others in a positive way’ great.
You might think, “Well that’s boring. How could that be a great thing?”
Well, let me ask you this question: think of a time when someone helped you or complimented you—how did you feel? How did it impact your day, possibly even your week?
Here’s a fun fact: God designed us with the ability to do amazing things with simple tools.
It doesn’t take a stage and microphone or a millions of followers on social media—although that might be totally awesome too. You can use just your voice and be speaking encouragement to one friend.
If you think that it takes a lot of work and skill to change someone’s life, then you’re wrong! All it takes are the tools you have right now—your voice, heart, and will to love others.
“We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.”
Romans 12:6-8 NIV
You are going to change the world! I believe in you.
