Do y’all know what today is?

It’s Mother’s Day!

Since it’s Mother’s Day and a Sunday, I wanted to do an encouragement-Mother’s Day combined post. So here we go!

First of all: who is your mother to you?

To me, my mom is kind, loving, generous, funny, caring, selfless, and so much more.

Second of all: who is God to you?

To me, God is kind, caring, selfless, generous, careful, articulate, loving and so much more.

The qualities that my mother has, are all very like the qualities that God has.

Do you know why that is? It’s because she tries to live the life that God wants her to live and to make her qualities more like God’s.

Which leads me to the encouragement part: the adults in your life—youth leaders, pastors, parents, even siblings and friends—are doing their best to model God’s qualities for you.

People want to have the same qualities as Christ to lead a healthy example for you. It’s so that you can have someone to look up to. That’s how much they care about you.

This is what my parents do for me—and my mom makes it her goal to be a good example of Jesus and be a good representative of His love.

Don’t forget to let your mother and mother-figures know how much you love them!!

Happy Sunday and Happy Mother’s Day!

    This is so sweet!

Honestly, my Mom to me is: loving, caring, funny, fun, kind, smart, strong, stubborn, and will give you a piece of her mind if you mess up, she’s a good teacher and…just a great mom lol.

    Happy Mother’s Day!

My mom is one of the hardest working people I know. She continues to teach me about God and homeschooled my sister and I K-12. I am trying to learn how to be more gentle and kind to her. She has a hard time on Mother’s day ever since my Grandma died in 2021. Please keep her in prayer. Thanks for this encouregement post!
