Have you ever made a mistake?

I’ve made more mistakes than I can count—and more than I’d like to admit.

But there’s this really cool thing that we are offered every single time we make a mistake. If you grew up in a Christian household, you may have heard of it, and if you’ve never heard of it or don’t know much about it, then I’m stoked to tell you about it. (I’m stoked to tell you about it anyways.😉)

So, you ask, what is this cool thing?

It’s a thing called forgiveness.

I bet you’re rolling your eyes. But chill out, give me a second.

You will always and forever need forgiveness.

So forgiveness is something you get from God after you screw up. Whether it’s something small like lying to your sibling about where you hid their karaoke machine or it’s something big like kidnapping a baby, God will offer forgiveness to you.

You see, forgiveness doesn’t need to be taken when it comes to God. He’s going to give forgiveness to you whether you want it or not. Why? Because he just loves you that much.

It’s not a one-time thing either. It’s a ‘forever and ever and ever times a million” type thing. (I don’t know about you, but I definitely need that.)

So next time you mess up—big or little—know that God will forgive you because he loves his kids. (That’s you, by the way.)
