Y’all, it is spring! I’m so stoked for warm weather and being able to write outside. Since it’s starting to warm up, I figured we should have another writing competition!
So here’s the prompt that should be the theme of your writing:
Spring.
You need to write a poem about spring or what it means to you. Here are the guidelines:
- No more than 1,000 words please!
- Please make sure to include a title.
- And please submit to me by April 30th, the last day of April! You have a week to write and submit your poem. :)
Obviously, please keep it family friendly and clean, but other than that, you do you!
Now, if I get more than 5 submissions then I’ll choose two winners, but if I get 5 or less, then there will be only one winner.
So share this with your friends and there will be a better chance of you winning!
What do you win?
Bragging rights, your poem posted on my blog, and that’s about it. This is a friendly competition. :)
What will I be judging?
I’ll be judging your writing, so please make sure there aren’t any typos! I’ll also be judging the content: does it make me think of spring?
So that’s about it! If you have any questions, contact me here or let me know in the comments. :) I hope to see a bunch of poems! Share this with your poet friends!
