Many people ask this: if Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit are different, how are they the same?

It’s a great question! And I have an answer to it based on a friend’s analogy.

So think of Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and God together as one body. The three of them make up a single being, but there are different parts to it, right?

Maybe the Holy Spirit is the appendages. It uses it’s arms and legs to move our hearts to action.

And maybe God is the brain of the operations: he’s the one in charge, the divine being.

And maybe Jesus is the heart. He is constantly loving us and the world.

Now, that doesn’t mean that God doesn’t love or that Jesus doesn’t move or that the Holy Spirit doesn’t think. But they all make up a part of one being, creating a perfect and whole being.

It’s like our bodies. You’ve got a heart, a brain, a nose, two legs, a stomach. And they all do something.

So in conclusion? The Holy Spirit, God, and Jesus are one, but are still their own unique self.
