A few weeks ago, I was looking at the verse of the day on the Bible App and one of the images said this:

“Love your enemies, love dangerously.”

Of course, that was my “I woke up two minutes ago and I’m still groggy” brain that was reading, and the verse ACTUALLY said “love your enemies, live generously.”

But you know, I really like the thought of loving dangerously.

Because Jesus’s love, and God’s love, their love was DANGEROUS.

So dangerous that people DIED, because it was such a good love.

And loving your enemies is loving dangerously! You’ll likely receive weird looks, harsh words, sometimes even retaliation against your love because loving enemies is so out of the question these days.

Dangerous love is loving against the standards of who we are supposed to love and how we are supposed to love them.

We can still love dangerously today.

So I leave you with this question…how can you love dangerously?

By the way, just so there’s some Scripture in this post, the verse of the day was Luke 6:27-28, (but I don’t know the specific translation that tricked me into thinking it said “love dangerously”).
