Do you ever feel loved?

Maybe it’s when your mom gives you a hug, or when your dad takes you to a sports game. Maybe it’s when your best friend texts you on the morning of an exciting day, or maybe it’s when your boyfriend or girlfriend surprises you just because they can.

Love comes in many forms. God is good at finding the way you need love best. He knows your love language might be words of affirmation, he might show a Bible verse to you, surprising you with it everywhere you go.

He knows your love language might be receiving gifts. And so he blesses you with a sunrise every morning, or a piece of nature outside your home.

God is so busy loving you that he doesn’t have time to worry about the mistakes you make.

God’s duty might seem like he has to scold or rebuke you, or maybe you think of God as a mean old grandpa.

But God—his job is to love his child and to be that joyful Father for you.

‘However, the Lord your God would not listen to [the diviner], but turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the Lord your God loves you.’ Deuteronomy 23:5 NIV

Have a great Sunday! Praying for you all. <3
