Happy Sunday y’all! Can you believe it’s March?! I honestly feel like Christmas was last week…well, let’s hop into today’s post!

There’s a post I did a while back that I really liked, and it’s short, so I’m kind of doing a repost of it!

(I’m pretty sure most of my subscribers haven’t read this one unless you scrolled way down my posts, haha! Sorry if you’ve already read this one. 🙃)

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:1-2

Sometimes it feels like our failures are permanent.

It’s hard to remember that thanks to the Big Guy up there our failures and sins are washed away.

So here’s a fun analogy for you that I came up with:

Your failures are written in pencil. They’re erasable. Sometimes when rubbed on, they smear, but if you use the right eraser it’s easily removed.

God’s love is written in Sharpie. It’s permanent. No matter what rubs on it, His love is immovable.

God’s love is also an eraser. A good one. It doesn’t smear the pencil markings or make it all dusty and gross. It removes the pencil markings in just a single swipe. (Those kind of erasers are the best, aren’t they?)

Don’t think God’s love is a pencil. It’s not. Don’t think your mistakes and sin are a Sharpie. They’re not. They are erasable, but God’s love is never erasable.
