Daily writing prompt
What is the biggest challenge you will face in the next six months?

I have a handful of challenges coming up in the next six months, and while I’m looking forward to some, I’m not looking forward to others.

In the next few weeks I have to pass my knowledge and skills test for driver’s ed. (Challenge number one.) That’s got to happen before my family moves back across the country, which brings me to my next challenge: moving. (Challenge number two.)

My dad is retiring from the military and in June my family will be driving to North Carolina where we will retire. Then, we have to settle in to our new home. (Challenge number three.)

And then…it’s the dreaded part of every move.

Meeting people. (Challenge number four.) I’ve had experience with meeting people often, but I still hate it and am a wee bit shy. (I’m sure my parents are reading this and are like, “A wee bit? Nah, more like really shy.”)

But, there’s a couple things.

First of all, I’ve done this before. Except for the driving test, I’ve moved, I’ve settled into a new place, and I’ve met people before. I’ve done those things many times, I’m basically a pro.

Second of all, God’s proven faithful. He’s shown that he’s stuck by my side, no matter how many times I relocate. And that’s pretty cool of Him to do so.

There’s a pretty cheesy Christian saying, but it’s still a good one. (Sometimes the most cheesy things are the best things. Like mac ‘n cheese.)

The struggle is real, but so is God.

(It’s not too cheesy, but still a wee bit cheesy.)

But anyways. It’s true! In fact, God is the realest thing there ever was. He is truth.

And the truth of God is that He is with us, even in our challenges.

Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Second; I think I know what you mean for the most part because me and my family have move across the country 6 times in the last 7 years, I could probably pack and move better than the pros of the pros. third; sorry for not posting this morning I’m going through something rn and will try to get back on track soon.

Hey, best of luck on your test and move to the Carolinas! I know what it is like to move cross-country a lot and am basically a pro at it too. I will pray that will be able to find an awesome community in your new home!
