Happy Sunday!🙂 How was y’all’s week?

Today I had something I wanted to share that someone shared with me a couple years ago that really helped me.

Alrighty, here it is:

When you cry, God is crying with you.

No matter what you’re crying or sad about, God is hurting and crying with you. He’s sad that you’re sad. How cool is it, that the God of the freaking Universe, empathizes with your pain?!

It’s amazing!

God is no stranger to sorrow. In fact, Isaiah 53 (read the whole thing, it’s amazing) says this: “He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.” (Isaiah‬ ‭53‬:‭3‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

When Jesus came down to earth, he was betrayed, hurt, left, hated, forgotten, and many other awful things that many of us go through today.

So Jesus knows your pain, and he hurts with you.
