- We use a different clock than God does. Ours is built on impatience, sin, selfishness, and carelessness. God’s is built on truth, patience, kindness, and a firm foundation. (Romans 5:6, 2 Peter 3:9)
- His son died, not to start a religion, but to start a relationship with you. Romans 5:8)
- If God had a wallet, your photo would be in it. If he had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it. He sends you flowers every spring and a sunrise every morning. Let’s face it friend, he’s crazy about you. (John 3:16, Matthew 6:28-29)
- He sent his son to die for you, even if you weren’t going to live for him.
- Jesus chose to die for the worst version of you, not the best version of you. In fact, there’s not a version of you that Jesus wouldn’t die for. (1 Thessalonians 5:10)
- When you cry, God cries with you. Whether it’s over a relationship, confusion, hurt, anger, loneliness, fear, God cries with you. He cries because you are in pain, and it hurts him to watch you feel that way. (John 11:35, 1 Peter 5:7)
- God’s loves to talk to you. Every time you tell him a simple “Hello,” you make his day. And even if you don’t talk to him, he’ll always be listening for you. (Matthew 6:9-13)
- There’s nothing that could ever seperate you from God and his love. It’s like a permanent Elmer’s glue! XP (Romans 8:38-39)
- God loves you as he finds you. He’s not going to love you more if he finds you in a thriving part of life and he’s not going to love you less if he finds you in the worst moment of your life. He loves you as he sees you. Which is all the time. (1 John 4:8)
- God is your Father. The perfect father who you don’t deserve but who you have anyways. (Ephesians 1:4-6, Galatians 4:4-7)
