It is almost Christmastime. (Meaning: it’s not 6 months away. It’s only two months away. At the moment, as I’m writing this we have 56 days!!) And I want you to write a snippet about a Christmas tradition that you either have OR that you think would be amazing to have. It’s super easy and flexible! But there’s a couple things you need to keep in mind:

1. You don’t need to write it from YOUR POV, you can use a fictional character representing you, but I’d love it if it was your POV! I want to learn about you, what you value and think is fun and creative!
2. Your writing snippet needs to include this word in it: fluffy. Not sure why I chose it, but it’s kinda fun I guess.
3. Please try to keep it between 100-1,000 words. I’m cool with whatever length as long as it’s not 99 or 1,001.
4. And finally, (I know, we have another rule!) you have to submit it by Thanksgiving day, November 28.

I will be judging based on creativity and your overall writing. There will be two winners who will be published on my blog: Most creative tradition and the one that made me cry. (Or get close to crying. I rarely cry over writing y’all, if you make me cry, it must be really good.)

You can write it in the form of a poem, fiction, nonfiction, whatever tells me about you!

If all goes well, I’ll be posting the winners around the first week of December.
